Nepal jungle safari differs from traditional safari. A Nepalese safari offers more potential adventures than just seeing rare wild animals consisting of cultural, religious, historical and heritage tourism. Between safari tourist can enjoy local home-stay where you can interact to local eat local cuisine; participate in cultural and traditional activities like dancing and singing. Some areas of Nepal provide leisure activities like club, party and sun bathing in riverbank. Gharial and elephant husbandry farms are gaining popularity and attracting large number of tourists. Nepal is famous for Jungle Safari due to rich in different kind of flora and fauna, wildlife, birds and animals and many more endangered species. The best places to visit are Chitwan National Park, Bardia National Park. These parks are great for jungle safari and elephant ride. Some rare great one horned rhinoceros, dolphin, crocodile, birds, bear, leopard, Royal Bengal Tiger are habitat in parks. Moreover, the parks are famous for nature walk, bird watching, visiting local villages of Tharu and experiencing their tradition and culture.

There are two top national parks in Nepal. One is Chitwan National Park and lies in central Terai lowlands with some of the best wildlife and nature views. It offers diverse and rich ecosystem including animals, birds, reptiles and numerous kinds of plant species. The main highlight of the park is one horned rhinoceros and notable number of Royal Bengal Tigers. Around 500 one horned rhinoceros live in the dense forests of the park. They can be encountered during jungle safari. Elephant safari is the best way to view and traverse around the jungle premises. It is safe because no other animals in jungle come close while people are riding elephants. This gives people the closest view up to 1 meter from other animals. Jungle safari can be done in jeep as well. The driver will take us deep into the forest so that we could capture some best shots of animals and birds. This can be categorized as short trip which is around 4 hours of jungle safari and full day safari. More we spent time in jungle safari the chances to encounter Royal Bengal Tiger is higher. During full day safari we will have lunch in the jungle. We will get opportunities to view crocodiles, brilliantly colored birds, pythons, leopard, and deer. Park introduces and gives taste of Tharu culture and tradition with heart touching Tharu dance.

And the other is Bardia National Park in the western Terai is also one of the famous destinations for jungle safari. This park lies in the east of Great Karnali River. Park is popular for swamp deer and black buck including the gharial, crocodiles and dolphin. There are around 30 kinds of mammals, around 200 types of birds and many more reptiles, fishes, insects and herbs. Jungle and Nature walk is done in foot for tracking down different animals but is equally risky. Jeep safari and Elephant safari is the popular means for traversing around the jungle in Bardia National Park. Elephant safari is also called Elephant Ride which is exclusively done for an hour for experiencing perfect view of animals in jungle. Tiger tracking and bird watching along with encountering Royal Bengal Tiger is done during the moment of jungle safari. Packages include 2 Night and 3 Days of Bardia Jungle Safari.


Day 1:

Arrival in Kathmandu Airport, receive and transfer to hotel by our representative.

As your aircraft lands in Tribhuwan International Airport our representative will receive you and help you to transfer into the hotel of your choice. After a short rest we will start the tour by visiting Kirtipur which is small but historic town situated in the southwest of Kathmandu on a hilltop. The historic town has many things to offers which include old shrines, temples and traditional Newari houses. Drive back to Kathmandu for overnight stay.


Day 2

Kathmandu to Chitwan.

Early in the morning after having breakfast we will leave Kathmandu behind us and drive for Chitwan National Park. On the way to Chitwan you can do optional whitewater rafting trip. Alternating between stretches of calm floating and thrilling whitewater rapids, the trip ends after 3-4hours in the village of Mugling Bazaar. From here you can continue the drive to Chitwan National Park. After checking into the hotel we will proceed for Tharu village tour.


Day 3

Explore Chitwan National park

Chitwan National Park before used to be a royal hunting reserve situated in the lowland of Terai zone in southern Nepal. It provides an habitat to an extraordinary range of world’s rarest wild animals and native and migratory birds. We will start the tour with bird watching, followed by jungle safari on elephant back and canoe ride. In the evening we will enjoy the Tharu cultural show.


Day 4


After having lunch we drive toward the plains in the far west lowland Terai region of Nepal, Bardia is the largest of the National Parks in Nepal.


Day 5


After taking launch, with an easy extension of extra nights as needed. The plan includes: elephant safari, bird watching, jungle walk etc. All walks and rides are accompanied by trained naturalist guides.


Day 6


After viewing Bardia, we will be back to Kathmandu and drive in the evening to Nagarkot..


Day 7


After taking launch, we will visit different shopping centers; you can shop of your choice. After Providing a Farewall Party, You will be transferred to Tribhuwan International airport for onward flight.
