Mountain Climbing is a popular and most Challenging adventure in country of Nepal.After successfully ascent of Mount Everest by Tenzing Norgey Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary on May 29, 1953, peak climbing became famous in Nepal. Many mountain climbers and adventure seekers are climbing the Nepal trekking peaks.Nepal is the home of eight highest mountain peaks above 8000 meters among 14 in the world including Mount Everest (Top of the world).Nepal has 1310 mountain peaks above 6000 m. which offers for the pleasure of peak climbing, mountaineering and trekking.
Travels2Nepal organize various adventure sports including mountain peak climbing, mountaineering and expeditions on the major mountain trekking peaks in Nepal opened by Nepal Mountaineering Association(NMA). There are 33 mountain trekking peaks open for alpine climbing under NMA.Nepal Mountaineering Association has classified these mountain trekking peaks in 2 groups: Group "A" 15 peaks and Group "B" 18 peaks. The Government of Nepal has authorized the Nepal Mountaineering Association to issue permit for Group "A" and Group "B" mountain trekking peaks through government registered trekking agency of Nepal but trekking agency should be member of Nepal Mountaineering Association.
FEE STRUCTURE FOR PEAK CLIMBING
Group 'A' NMA Peaks:
Royalty for 1-7 members: US$500.00
Royalty for each additional member up to 12 persons:US$100.00
Group 'B' NMA Peaks:
Royalty for 1-4 members: US$ 350.00
Royalty for 5-8 members: US$ 350.00 + US$ 40.00 per person
Royalty for 9-12 members:US$ 510.00 + US$ 25.00 per person
Note: Maximum number of members in one team is 12.
