The trek begins from Kathmandu with the flight viewing the astonishing rivers, hills and scenario on the way to Lukla. It is at the altitude of 2,828m from the sea level. Lukla is very beautiful city and it is close to nature. It is the first step to the Everest Base Camp. Everest Base Camp is at the altitude of 5,545m. Lukla is a busy city which is just belo the huge cliff in the Himalayas. City is rich in its wildlife and vegetation. Deer, Musk Deer, Thar, Blue Sheep, Snow Leopard and other animals can be found there. Also, the various kinds of birds named as Kalij, Danfe and Munal can be spotted during the journey. The environment is full of wilderness.

The trekking route is famous for Sagarmatha National Park, Namche Bazaar, and Monasteries and so on. Namche Bazaar is one of the popular towns in there. It is located in Khumbu region and is crowdy with full of shops and hotels covered with people all around. Colourful prayer flags, Chorten, stupas and monasteries are the major attraction of the city. It can be considered as the major trade and business zone of the Khumbu region. The people of that region actullay show warm hospitality to their guest. Tengboche monastery is the popular one which carries cultural and traditional beliefs. It offers more close up views of mighty mountains in the Everest region. Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. The itinerary for the trekking in this region is as follows: Starting the Trek from Kathmandu valley taking 45 hours of flight will take you Lukla from where the actual trek begins. The first desitnation from there is Phakding which is at the altitude of 2652m. It will take around 3 hours. From Phakding the next city you will reach is Namche Bazaar which is at the altitude of 3440m from the sea level. The duration to reach there is approximately 6 hours. From Namche Bazaar to Everest View Hotel you will then reach Namche. This place is near to Tengboche and after 5 hours of trekking and ups and downs you will reach there. It is at the altitude of 3860m. Dingboche is the next destination from Tengboche at the duration of 5 hours and is at the altitude of 4410m. At the difference of 700m altitude the next destination you will reach is Nagerjuna which is quite famous place for sightseeing. The trail follows back to Dingboche to Lobuche and from there it is approximately 8 hours to Everest Base Camp. Camp is at the altitude 5364m from the sea level.
